In order to become an approved Rescue Partner with Harnett County Animal Services the following must be complete, all attachments included, and mailed, faxed or emailed to:

  3. Attach the following:
    1. Rescue Partner Information Form – This form must be completely filled out and include 3 References from Shelters* (This form is also known as Transfer Partner Information Form) and can be downloaded from here: http://www.harnett.org/ac/downloads/HC%20Animal%20Services%20Transfer%20Partner%20Information%20Form%202.pdf
    2. Rescue Organization’s Mission Statement
  • Non-Profit Status (501c3) Proof (ie, Publication 78 IRS website, www.guidestar.com)
  1. Rescue Organization’s Adoption Policy
  2. Veterinary letter(s) of recommendation
  3. *3 References with contacts from other NC County-Run Animal Shelters (or if less please note)
