Board/Committee INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES/POLLUTION CONTROL FINANCING AUTHORITY Authorization That under and pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 159C of the General Statutes of North Carolina, as amended (the"ACT"), the County created the Harnett County Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority; that in accordance with Section 159C-4 of the Act, seven commissioners were appointed to the Authority on August 8, 1977, two for initial terms of two years each, two for initial terms of four years each, and three for initial terms of six years each. Function The Authority does not have regularly scheduled meetings. Meetings are scheduled at those times when the County has applications or requests to consider for Industrial Revenue Bonds on potential industrial and manufacturing projects within the County.
