To work to maintain the spirit of the Rest Home Bill of Rights and to promote community involvement and cooperation with rest homes, family care, and an integration of these homes into a system of care for the elderly.

Primary duties include granting conditional use permits, granting variances and conducting administrative review hearings on appeals of rulings made by the Zoning Administrator.
