8th Annual Family Caregiver Holiday Craft Fair

Shop from local artists for handmade items including candles, skin care, baked goods, clothing, cosmetics, fragrances, jewelry, scarves, wreaths, hand painted signs & more. A $6.00 hot dog lunch will be available for purchase in the kitchen area from 12pm-2pm. Tthis will include two hot dogs, chips, and a drink. Proceeds will help fund the Department of Social Services Christmas Cheer Program for Harnett County Elderly Shut In Residents. For more information, contact Latorius Adams at 910-814-6075.

Intended for newer farmers and farmland owners, this workshop will introduce participants to local agencies available to help provide up to date information on best management practices and resources to help your farm harvest success. Harnett Ag Strong Workshop Series: Pathways to Plant Success

Join us on January 9 at 6pm at the Harnett County Agriculture Center, located at 126 Alexander Drive, Lillington, for a Harnett Ag Strong Workshop. Workshop Description: Have you ever asked yourself...what does my soil test report mean, what is this weed and how do I kill it, how do I stop my land from eroding and pay for farm improvements, what is present use tax value, or what breed of livestock is best for my farm? This workshop is intended to set newer farmers and farmland owners on a path to success by answering frequently asked questions about managing crop and forestland, livestock, and natural resources. One-Stop Voting Begins for 2020 Primary Election

Absentee Early Voting available 02/13/2020 through 02/29/2020 Eligible Harnett County residents can vote early at any available One-Stop polling site in Harnett County. One-Stop sites and their hours can be found on our webpage: http://www.harnett.org/elections/. Same-Day Registrations can also be completed at One-Stop sites with qualifying proof of residence. Voters are encouraged to check their registration status and sample ballots on https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/.
