Harnett County Emergency Services and the County Fire Departments strive to provide the very best fire prevention programs to out citizens and local schools. We have hands on equipment, brochures, and videos to provide the best information and training, to lower the chances of a fire starting. The County Fire Departments participate in annual fire prevention week in October, to spend the day with students, teaching what to do if there is a fire. There is complete fire extinguisher training provided to our daycare facilities, group homes, and nursing homes throughout the county to assure proper operation of a fire extinguisher.
