Mobile Mammography: Early Detection Saves Lives!

The Health Department provides access to mobile mammography screenings in partnership with Rex Mobile Mammography. Pre-registration is required. *For women who are uninsured and need a mammogram funding assistance is available for those who meet specific criteria. Go Red Lunch and Learn

Harnett County Health Department and Harnett Health are partnering to offer the 11th annual Go Red Lunch and Learn on Friday, February 22nd from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Governmental Complex Commons Area. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Amol Bahekar with Harnett Cardiology. The event is free, however registration is required. To register call 910-814-6298. Lunch will be provided. The registration deadline is Monday, February 18th.

Healthy Cooking on a Budget: March 7, 2019

Join us for a session on how to prepare low-cost and healthy meal options. Bring your lunch and enjoy samples of healthy options. This is a free educational program with demonstrations on healthy meal options for breakfast,lunch, and dinner. The program will be held at the Cooperative Extension site located at 126 Alexander Drive in Lillington on Thursday, March 7th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. "Eating for Two: Nutrition and Pregnancy”

Join us on Tuesday, March 26,2019 from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Government Complex, Commons Area for a session that will provide demonstrations on how to prepare low-cost, quick, and healthy meal options for mothers-to-be.
