HIV/AIDS & STD Education

The goal of the HIV/AIDS & STD Education programs is to reduce the number of people in Harnett County who become infected with sexually transmitted diseases. Through the Health Education Division, the Harnett County Department of Public Health provides education and risk reduction information to the public regarding the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including HIV/AIDS.

Public Health Educators are available to respond to requests for information and to conduct educational sessions for the public. Please call the Health Education Division at (910) 814-6195 to request educational sessions or materials.
