Dunn Erwin Trail

The Dunn – Erwin Trail is a 5.3 mile by 100 foot corridor of rain line that makes a wye-shaped connection between the towns of Dunn and Erwin in Harnett County, North Carolina.

The trail emerges from the heart of Dunn and Erwin and travels through their suburban and light industrial fringe, through rural farmland dotted with cotton fields and cottages across the beautiful Black River and its wetlands.

When using the trail, please:

  • Use the trail during daylight hours only
  • Never walk or bike on the trail alone
  • Dispose of trash properly and help keep the trail clean
  • Yield to vehicles at street intersection and use caution when crossing
  • Do not use alcoholic beverages
  • Keep pets on a leash at all times
  • Stay on designated trails and respect plants and wild life
  • Be courteous to other trail users
  • No ATV or horses are allowed
