Region V : HIV/STD Prevention Team

The Region V HIV/STD Prevention Team assists communities in Anson, Bladen, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland counties and Fort Bragg in developing HIV/STD prevention strategies through education and technical assistance.

Region V is one of seven regions throughout the state that forms a community planning group to work closely with the North Carolina HIV/STD Prevention and Care Branch. Region V sends two representatives to serve on the Statewide Community Planning Group.

We invite anyone concerned with preventing HIV/STDs in our region to be a part of Region V’s community planning group. Meetings are held bi-monthly at the Cumberland County Department of Social Services, 1225 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville.
