Mission Statement

The mission of the Harnett County JobLink Career Center is to provide access to a wide range of integrated educational, employment, and training services that will enable individuals to pursue a better quality of life and employers to obtain and maintain the qualified workforce they require.

The Center is centrally located in Harnett County on the campus of Central Carolina Community College in Lillington.

All customers entering the Center are allowed to make choices. They have access to self-service information or can request staff assistance.

Harnett County JobLink operates under the guidelines of the Mid-Carolina Workforce Develepment Board through the local Service Delivery Area. The Board has established a performance system that focuses on results. Programs are operated under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.

The primary goal of the Career Center is to provide necessary services that will enhance the employability of the workforce of today and tomorrow.

The overall strategy of the Center is to meet the needs of job training seekers and employers by providing access to high quality services.
