Out to Lunch Book Club
The Harnett County Public Library invites you Out to Lunch. Out to Lunch Book Club meets the last Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in the Library's Meeting Room. Out to Lunch Book Club is still in the development stages, join us and help shape our new book club. It might be a group of people who read the same book and then discuss it. Or maybe everyone will come and give a five-minute book talk about something they’ve read recently. You can decide whether you want to read fiction, nonfiction, light, funny, mysterious, literary, or not.
So, what is a book club and why should you join? A book club is simply a group of people who get together on a regular basis to discuss books. There are so many reasons to join a book club. They can be an excellent way to enjoy books more and challenge your mind; they can also encourage you to read more, or to read books that you might not normally choose. The main reason for joining should be to have fun, make friends and meet like-minded people!
Book club will meet on the last Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in the Library’s Meeting Room, 601 S. Main Street Lillington. Put it on your calendar. Come to have fun; come with ideas, come with book suggestions. Bring your lunch. We’ll handle the rest.
Group discussion and updates will be posted to the Group, check it out!
