The staff of Adult Services welcomes you to the library where you will have your choice of over 79,000 items, including fiction and non-fiction books, audiocassettes, and videotapes, as well as newspapers and magazines.

A special collection for Young Adults and the Local History Room are located in Adult Services.

With the help of the staff of Adult Services, you can

• Find the answers to reference questions which you may ask
  • in person
  • by phone (910-893-3446), or
  • by email
• Get a recommendation for a good book by asking in person, or using NoveList.
• Place a hold in our online catalog for materials that are currently checked out (not for those which are on our shelves)
• Make an Interlibrary Loan request for materials that the HCPL does not own.
