1. Farmers Cotton Oil and Fertilizer Company. They made pot ash, fertilizer, cotton seed meal for feed, ginned cotton, cotton seed hull feed. They had a big set of scales to weigh cotton. Employees were: Sidney Howell, Mildred Gossett, Henry Young, the night watchman (Pearl Johnson's Brother) and Bill Porthyress.
