Anderon Creek Park

Anderson Creek Park is located in southwestern Harnett County and consists of 1014 acres between Nursery Rd and Powell Farm Rd. The park will be developed through phases into a multi-use facility that will offer a variety of activites and experiences for the local residents. Harnett County has been awarded a Parks and Recreation Trust Fund grant for $500,000 to begin Phase 1 of the park. Phase 1 will include walking trails, picnic pavillion, interpretive signage, observation areas, restrooms, disc golf, and a playground. Construction is expected to begin in late 2011 or early 2012.
