Community Involvement

The Anderson Creek Senior Center strives to be involved in the commmunity of Harnett County, and provides a setting for others to do so as well. We offer a variety of outreach programs with many benefits:

• The Senior Center works closely with Hospice of Harnett to encourage volunteering and helping of those in need.
• We provide a community garden that currently offers bucket, herb and rooting gardens, and has planned a larger box garden for further planting.
• The Senior Center encourages involvement with local churches, and the church senior groups will be invited to the Senior Center Appreciation Day.
• We also participate in the Lillington Farmers Market (June 9th) by selling baked goods to benefit hospice patients.
