Neill's Creek Area

The Neill’s Creek Area is the first of several that will be evaluated in conjunction with the rewriting of Harnett County’s Land Use Plan. To begin, the NC Department of Commerce, Division of Community Assistance did a study that was completed in 2004. To view the study click here. This study was the footprint Planning Staff used in evaluating the area. Next, several forums were held for the public. Planning Staff provided information, and more importantly gathered citizen input. The information gathered from the public forums will be used in compiling a new Land Use Plan for the area.
