Shawtown Community Development Center Open House & Community Meeting

Join us on Monday, September 9 for an open house and community meeting at the new Shawtown Community Development Center. Citizens will be a will be able to tour the renovated building and learn more about the services that will be provided at the site, and meet community partners who will operate out of the facility including: Harnett Police Athletic League, Boys & Girls Club of Harnett County, NC Works Career Center, and the 11th Judicial District ReEntry. The Open House will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a Community Meeting at 6:30 p.m. During the Community Meeting, County officials will discuss future phases of revitalization efforts at the former Shawtown School campus. Habitat for Humanity Harnett County Presents The Band of Oz

Habitat for Humanity Harnett County will host a fundraising event on Sunday, October 27 from 5pm-8pm at the Shrine Building in Dunn, NC. The event will feature The Band of Oz and will include music, food and lots of fun. Tickets are $20 online. All process will be used for future home construction in Harnett County.
