Animal Services has started a new spay and neuter program.
The ‘HARNETT COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES – RESCUE PARTNER AGREEMENT’ is an agreement/application for Rescues to complete and once approved, Harnett Animal Services will reduce /waived the Spay / Neuter fee at release, provided the rescue meets the requirements of the agreement.
The Rescue Application Agreement form can be found in the Policies / Application Link. The form can be faxed ( 910-814-0438) emailed, or hand carried to Animal Services Animal Shelter. Keep in mind if the form is not completed properly, signed, and placed on file the spay / neuter fee will not be reduced/waived.
NOTE : If your organization has anyone local that is authorized to pull animals, you will need to attach their names to the Application Form. If you have already filled out the form and returned it to Animal Services please be sure you have provided an updated list with all approved pullers for the rescue We will also not authorize one time pullers. It will be the responsibility of the rescue organizations to keep all list up to date. We will not accept same day applications.
