Harnett County will host its annual Veterans Day Parade and Service on Friday, November 11 in Lillington. The event will celebrate local service members and veterans with hundreds of participants marching or riding along in the parade followed by a main service to recognize veterans. The parade will begin at 10 a.m., following a route that includes Front and Main Streets in Lillington. At 12 p.m., a main service will be held at the Veterans Memorial Park in the Harnett County Government Complex located at 307 W. Cornelius Harnett Blvd., Lillington. This year's speaker will be Colonel John B. Hinson, Commander 3rd Expenditionary Sustainment Command at Fort Bragg.
