Health Educators design and implement programs that create healthful living and help reduce risks of diseases. We develop policy and environmental changes and conduct community assessments to evaluate the outcomes of choosing healthy behaviors.
Program staff form partnerships with health care providers, schools, work-sites, faith organizations, leaders and many others to bring about changes in our community.
Public Health Educators are available to respond to requests for information and to conduct educational sessions for the public.
Please call the Health Education Division at (910) 814-6196 to request educational sessions or materials.
