Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

Harnett County is working with state officials and local agencies to closely monitor the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The safety and security of our Harnett County employees and citizens is our top priority.

Although the some Harnett County Government buildings are closed for public access, Harnett County Government staff will continue to offer services and provide support to citizens at this time. Citizens are encouraged to visit www.harnett.org to receive services online or call County Departments for assistance with services. A list of County department phone numbers can also be found at www.harnett.org/department-index.asp.

COVID-19 VACCINATION INFORMATION

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics: Everyone 12 and over is now eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccination. The vaccines are free of charge to all individuals, regardless of immigration or health insurance status.  The Harnett County Health Department is providing first and second dose vaccination appointments for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.  The one-shot Johnson & Johnson(Janssen)COVID-19 vaccine which is recommended for people aged 18 years and older is also available. If you would like to make an appointment online visit the Health Department’s web site located at www.harnett.org/health click on the link for COVID-19 Vaccine Inquiry or call the Health Department at 910-814-6582. All vaccinations will be administered by appointment.  The Health Department is located within the Governmental Complex at 307 W. Cornelius Harnett Blvd in Lillington. 

Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine  for Children and Teens:  Keep them safe, in school and with friends.  Getting your child or teen vaccinated is the best way to protect them, prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect family members and others. COVID-19 DATA REPORTS

These reports provide information on the confirmed cases and chart movement trends which include the daily case count, cases per week, cases by age and gender, deaths by gender and age. The Harnett County Health Department provides a COVID-19 data report each weekday around 5pm. To view the daily COVID-19 data report, visit www.harnett.org/health.
