Public Health Officials with the Harnett County Health Department announced that individuals who have received their first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at the Harnett County Health Department will be called to schedule an appointment for their second dose of the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine. The Moderna vaccine requires a second shot 28 days after the first. The Harnett County Health Department is continually working to provide the COVID-19 vaccine and is following North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance. Officials request everyone to please be patient as they work to provide vaccination.
