In support of National Clear the Shelter initiative, Harnett County Animal Services will waive adoption fees for all animals at the Harnett County Animal Shelter Monday, August 22 through Saturday, August 27.
The Animal Shelter is located at 1100 McKay Place in Lillington.
“Clear the Shelter” is a nationwide initiative that raises awareness about the many animals that are in need of a forever home and encourages residents to clear their local animal shelters.
The fee waiver includes all regular adoption fees, with the exception of an $18 charge for medicine for the adopted pet.
The Harnett County Animal Shelter offers canines and felines of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. The shelter will be open on the following days for adoptions.
