County Officials Lift COVID-19 State of Emergency

On September 6, Harnett County Officials terminated the County’s COVID-19 State of Emergency Order.

County Commissioners previously approved a State of Emergency Order for the COVID-19 pandemic on March 16, 2022 as a precautionary measure to allow for expedited assistance from state and federal aid agencies.

County Officials will continue to monitor COVID-19 trends and data and adhere to guidance from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

Harnett County Health Department will also continue to offer free COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots, free at-home testing kits, and other COVID-19 resources for residents. For more information on these resources, visit harnett.org/health or call 910-893-7550.

Read the Order.
