Harnett County Manager’s Office Hosts Citizen Information Sessions

Virtual and in-person sessions available

Harnett County Manager’s Office will hold information sessions later this month to provide citizens an opportunity to learn more about Harnett County Government departments, services, and initiatives.

Citizens can choose to attend a virtual zoom session at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28 or an in-person session at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 29 at the Harnett County Resource Center & Library training room, located at 455 McKinney Parkway in Lillington. Click here to register for the zoom session. No registration is required for the in-person session.

The hour long information sessions will include a presentation by Claire Jones, Board of Elections Director, Ira Hall, Chief Information Officer, and Ashley Bauer, Community Relations Director.  Topics will include:

  • Fall 2022 General Election Updates
  • Broadband Expansion Updates
  • Public Input Opportunities
  • Request-A-Speaker Program
  • How to get involved with Harnett County Government
  • Various other County Initiatives

Questions may also be asked at the conclusion of the presentation as time permits.
