Welcome The Finance Office maintains the accounting records of the county in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and the regulations of the local government commission. The department is responsible for pre-auditing and disbursing all funds in strict compliance with the general statutes, the budget ordinance and each project ordinance. The department is also responsible for investing the county's idle funds and keeping the Board of Commissioners informed of the county's financial condition.
