In observance of Labor Day, Harnett County offices, landfills, and convenience centers will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026. The libraries will also be closed on Saturday, September 5, 2026 for the holiday weekend.
TRICARE for Life Handbook
TRICARE For Life is Medicare-wraparound coverage if you are TRICARE-eligible and have Medicare Part A and B, regardless of age or place of residence. Coverage is only for those with Medicare and who are TRICARE-eligible. Coverage doesn’t extend to family members.

- Your TFL coverage starts the first day that Medicare Part A and B are in effect
- You must pay Medicare Part B premiums
