Harnett County to Host 2nd Annual Career Fair

Flyer for Career Fair scheduled for July 23Harnett County is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Career Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Resource Center & Library, located at 455 McKinney Parkway Lillington, NC 27546.

This event seeks to highlight the many benefits of working with Harnett County Government and helps to connect talented individuals with meaningful public service opportunities. The goal of the Career Fair is to fill critical vacancies, and to foster long-term careers that make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

“Our career Fair is a great opportunity for job seekers to explore careers in public service and for us to showcase what makes working for the County so rewarding,” said Janice Lane, Human Resources Director. “Last year’s event was a success, and this year we want it to be even better.”

The career fair will feature representatives from various departments that will discuss current job listings as well as future employment opportunities.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to not only explore potential careers, but they can also speak directly with current employees to gain insight into day-to-day operations. Current employees are a valuable resource for sharing insightful information about responsibilities, job requirements, and helpful advice,” said Leah Campbell, Human Resources Administrative Assistant.
