Resource Conservation Workshop
January 21, 2026–March 31, 2046
High school students across North Carolina are invited to attend this weeklong camp exploring careers in natural resource conservation and agriculture!

The Harnett SWCD Board will evaluate applications, select students to attend, and award scholarships to cover the cost!
($650 per student)!
Only rising 10-12 graders are eligible to apply.
Application deadline March 31, 2026.
Harnett students will be notified of acceptance by April 20, 2026.
Imagine yourself immersed in a soil pit, exploring muddy water, tracking wildlife, observing forest ecology, evaluating livestock pastures, and bringing it all
together by crafting a conservation plan.
