Cape Fear River Clean-Up – Volunteers Needed!
Keep Harnett Beautiful and the crew at Bottom Feeders Fishing is hosting a River Clean-Up Event, and we need YOUR help to protect and preserve the beautiful Cape Fear River!
Location: Lillington Wildlife Boat Ramp- 640 Wildlife Rd
Date: Saturday, March 7th, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Whether you prefer to stay on land or hit the water, there’s a way for everyone to help!
Bring your own kayak or canoe and clean up from the water
Or walk the riverbank and collect litter along the shore
We’ll provide:
Gloves
Trash bags
Picker Uppers
Neon Vests
Water
All you need to bring is your energy and a heart for keeping our river clean!
