IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

**Clerk of Superior Court

Temporary Change of Office Operating Hours**

Effective Monday, January 10, 2022 the Clerk’s office will begin operating in two teams and will be open to the public from 8:30 am until noon. The office will close at noon for disinfecting and reopen at 1:00 pm for emergency and time sensitive filings, upset bids and court ordered payments only.

THIS DOES NOT EFFECT COURT CASES OR SCHEDULES

Please know that I have given this careful consideration.  My office has seen an increase in COVID exposures and positive cases within the last two weeks.  Without clerks available to record the minutes and judgments of the court, courts would be canceled. I believe following strict safety precautions, limiting staff exposure and working in teams will prevent this from happening.

I appreciate your support, patience and understanding as my office continues to serve you during these uncertain times.

 Thank you,

Renee Whittenton,

Harnett Co. Clerk of Superior Court

**By Order of the Court, effective April 18, 2016, no cell phones
will be allowed inside the Harnett County Courthouse **
