Harnett County Central Permitting to Offer In-Person Services
Starting September 8, Harnett County Central Permitting, located at 108 E. Front Street, Lillington, will open their office for public access from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Friday for in-person services. Residents visiting Central Permitting office will be required to wear face coverings, maintain social distancing rules, and follow safety restrictions.
All Planning, Central Permitting, and Inspections services provided by Harnett County Development Services will continue to be available to residents by telephone or online at www.harnett.org/devsvc.
Most Harnett County Government office buildings and facilities remain closed for public access to help slow the spread of COVID-19. For the latest information on COVID-19 in Harnett County, visit www.harnett.org.
Central Permitting processes applications and permits for the following departments: Environmental Health, E911 Addressing, Fire Marshal’s Office, Inspections, Planning and Public Utilities. Likewise, staff will process applications for other jurisdictions that require services of the departments Central Permitting represents.
