Narcan Kits Available
The Health Department is distributing free Narcan kits while supplies last. Narcan is a potentially lifesaving nasal spray medication that can revive someone who has overdosed on opioids. Narcan kits will be available Monday-Friday 8:30am-11:30am-1:00pm-4:30pm at the Health Department located within the Governmental Complex at 307 W Cornelius Harnett Blvd. Lillington. No appointment is needed.
Individuals can pick up a kit if they have friends, family, or a loved one who are at risk of an opioid overdose or for people who want to help if they see someone having an opioid overdose. By increasing access to this harm reduction tool, the program aims to prevent opioid-related overdose deaths.
