The Child Health Clinic at the Harnett County Health Department is a full service pediatric clinic offering routine well child checks, sick clinic and immunization appointments. We also offer check-ups including sports, kindergarten, camp, preschool, and daycare physicals.

Appointments are available Monday-Friday from 8:00-11:15 am and 1:00-4:15 pm and can be made by calling (910) 893-7550.

Same day appointments may be available for certain clinics. The Health Department is a Carolina Access Provider and accepts Medicaid and some private insurances. An income based sliding scale program is also available for uninsured patients.

The Health Department employs Registered Nurses who have gone through additional training to become Enhanced Role Nurses in pediatrics, which means they are qualified to perform well child physicals from birth through age 20. A midlevel provider is often available for sick visits and to address questions or concerns that may be brought up during your child’s check-up. An LPN, a Spanish Interpreter, and management support staff are also available in the clinic.
