The Harnett County Health Department encourages that all children be up to date on their immunizations.

Please remember to bring your child’s immunization record to all medical visits so that we can ensure your child is up to date and that immunizations are not repeated.

Children from birth through 18 years of age who meet at least one of the following criteria are eligible for no cost vaccines through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program:

  • Medicaid eligible
  • Uninsured
  • American Indian/Alaskan Native
  • Underinsured

Under-insured children are children whose private health insurance coverage does not include vaccines, children whose insurance covers only selected vaccines, or children whose insurance caps coverage at a certain amount. Your child’s insurance will be filed if they do not qualify for the VFC program. We accept some private insurances as well.

Immunization clinic hours: 

  • Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 11:15 am and 1:00 pm– 4:15 pm.
