Drug overdose is a serious public health concern and opioid-related overdose has increased as a health threat. The Health Department in partnership with community partners will provide a Narcan training session for barbers and hair stylists on May 7, 2024, from 6:00pm-6:45pm located at Another Barbershop in Dunn. The purpose of the session is to educate about opioid overdose and what they can do in their communities to prevent fatal overdose and help save lives.
